Documents for MBBS abroad admission — and the mistakes that delay visas

A complete document list with the common errors that push students into a late intake.

TIT Admissions Desk 5 Dec 2025 3 min read

Most admission delays are not about eligibility — they are about paperwork. Start collecting these documents as soon as NEET results are out.

Checklist

  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
  • NEET-UG scorecard
  • Passport (valid for at least 18 months)
  • 10–15 passport photos, white background
  • Birth certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate and HIV test report

Mistakes to avoid

  • Name mismatches between passport, mark sheets and NEET scorecard — fix these first.
  • Late passport applications — it can take several weeks, longer if police verification is delayed.
  • Unattested documents — many countries need apostille or embassy legalisation.
  • Low-quality scans — universities reject blurry or cropped copies.

Bring your documents to our Kothanur office and we'll check everything in one sitting. Call 080-29727747 to book a time.
